This year, it’s Dior VIII Grand Bal collection which has the place of honour at Baselworld 2015. Thistime the French Luxury House tightensed its links with Couture in a remarkable way its collection powered by the “Dior Inversé 11 1/2” caliber, an automatic movement exclusive to the brand. In deed, the oscillating mass is located on the dial side evoking the whirling of a ball dress.
Just to let you dreamed, the Dior VIII Grand Bal “Fil d’Or”, Christian Dior worked with a traditional lace-maker from Le Puy-en-Velay to decorate the oscillating weight that dominates the dial, trimmed with diamonds and gold and only 88 pieces will be produced.
“A ball gown must be the one of your dreams, and must also make you a dream-like creature. In my opinion, it is just as important as a suit in a woman’s wardrobe. And so wonderful for morale…” said Christian Dior.
