A new turning point in the history of the iconic department store established in 1865.

After the renovation of Le Printemps de l’Homme at the beginning of 2017 then the opening of le Printemps de la Beauté this summer, the Parisian department store of the boulevard Haussmann has reveal on January 10th of this year a new space completely dedicated to the food. An unpublished business for Le Printemps.

Named « Le Printemps du Goût », this concept has no store on street because it settles down in heights, it occupies 7th and 8th stage of the building dedicated to the man, instead of the universe house, which migrated him in the building welcoming from now on beauty and the child. These two levels are opened in the light of the day and benefit from a view in 360° on Paris.

Concerning product, the space is only dedicated to the French gastronomy. Le Printemps  intends to distance itself from his competitors, already present in the universe “food”, by presenting a selection 100 % french. No exotic discoveries in the program, the objective is to value the local offer, which should seduce the tourists of passage.

Segmented in several spaces: zone of restoration, grocer’s shop and market, this new space extends over 1700 m2. Le Printemps du Goût built partnerships with various Chefs and artisans: the House Dubernet and its products of the Southwest, the baker Gontran Cherrier, the pastry chef Christophe Michalak, the Palais des Thés, the Juicerie and La Maison du Chocolat. Or still: le Repaire de Bacchus, the culinary bookshop Appetit, the culinary boxes Moi Chef and the coffee shop LOMI.

The segment of the food is undoubtedly on the roll, because in November, la Grande Epicerie de Paris, piloted by Le Bon Marché (group LVMH), opened a second address in the 16th district of the capital.
