The Moroccan Couturier Noureddine Amir
Noureddine Amir is a Moroccan Couturier who was born at Rabat in 1967. He was gratuated from the school ESMOD in 1996, and then he creates suits for the Iranian artist Shirin Neshat.
After, he decides to dedicated his career at the Moroccan fashion shows ; he made his point at the Casablanca fashion show, thanks to its collection of “haiks” in gold raffia.
Noureddine Amir used mainly Moroccan materials like wool , raffia, organza, jute canvas and silk chiffon, felt… He is defined like a sculptor thanks to its sculptural dresses which put in the spotlight long, fluid and rhythmic cuts, and material effects.
The creations of the Moroccan Couturier were exhibited at Fashion Museum in Anvers (MOMU), the Beaux-Arts Museum in Lille and recently a complete exhibition at the Pierre Bergé Foundation.
