Let me introduce you the first hotel devoted to opera, an original concept, designed by three businessmen lyricomanes.
The Lyric Hotel is right in the centre of the City of Light, located in a quiet street near the magnificent Opéra Garnier, one of the most famous monuments in Paris.
Designer Sylvia Courette and architect Nicolas Chevron have conceived an amazing way to translate a musical theme to a modern boutique hotel, full of colour and light. Continuity is provided by the idea of a music score, but details vary in each part, right from the reception area, which is structured like a stage, to the pink dance-shoe ribbon that leads the way along the corridors to your room. Natural stone is used in all the common areas.
Beautifully spacious and luxurious, rooms play with the idea of a dance studio and add in a musical theme. Parquet floors and wall mirrors set the ambiance and a décor offers a contrast of elegant neutrals and blocks of vivid colour in bedding and headboards.
In a touch of originality, ballerinas dance in each net curtain and giant black-and-white photos on classical music and dance themes decorate the wall behind the bed. And a lovely chandelier hangs from a ceiling design that recalls Chagall’s painting at the Opéra Garnier.
According to their levels of luxury, rooms bear the names of dances, operas or artists.
The Lyric Hotel offers a range of services to visitors such as concierge service, taxi reservations, wifi, business area with conference tables, computer and multimedia equipment, a bar, a sauna, a steam room, a swimming pool and a fitness facility. Partnerships with the chocolatier Daniel Mercier and beautician Omnisens allows to combine the pleasures of senses add to music in the hotel.
The Lyric hotel Paris is a fitting tribute to the hotel’s exceptional location.
