Since she launched her brand in 2014, the creator Christelle Kocher did not stop franking herself from rules. She defines her brand as the meeting between haute couture,  streetwear and contemporary art. The last season, its collection was inspired by the soccer team the richest in Europe, Paris Saint-Germain – soccer jerseys embroidered with crystals, transformed into small bold dresses – and presented in a Gothic church of the center of Paris. A whole strange and mysterious mixture, its collections are at the same time strong and fanciful, roguish and feminine.

Christelle Kocher managed to draw the attention of the sector – she was a part of finalists for the prizes LVMH and of the ANDAM these last two years.Since the beginning, the boldness of its imaging – As its pips in patchwork ultra graphic, but also the purity of its lines, sublime fuzzy pants – allows her to distance itself. The brand is certainly still young, but its influence is already enormous.

Koché, is a brand defined by the unexpected. On Tuesday, December 19th, Christelle Kocher, organize her show in legendary New York Strand Bookstore, in East Village, in Manhattan. She presented 46 dresses for her pre-collection of autumn, 2018. The artistic director imagined a collection around the meeting between Paris and New York but with a very French silhouette. For the place of the parade its choice concerned to one of the temples of the culture in Manhattan, a will to pay tribute to the Big Apple, to literature and to  big authors gathered on the shelves of the bookshop.
